The Caleb Stream is revitalising the Church by preparing leaders who are called to serve in their local context as self-supporting ordained ministers.
Designed specifically for mature and experienced leaders, it overlaps the formal selection process and training, preparing candidates for ordination and local deployment after two years.
Who is it for?
The Caleb Stream aims to mobilise a generation rich in Christian leadership and life experience to serve in parishes across the UK.
How does it work?
Across the two-year programme each student will receive teaching and formation, drawing on the strengths and gifts they bring and investing in the ministry God is calling them to step into. The cohort will journey together through a series of in-person and online engagement, as well as the national discernment processes.
This year, a new initiative, The Elizabeth Pathway, has been launched by the Church of England and the Caleb Stream will be part of this.
